Lilia Carrillo (b. Nov. 2, 1930, Mexico City-d. June 6, 1974, Mexico City) was a Mexican painter from the Generación de la Ruptura. Her parents were General Francisco Carrillo and Socorro García. Her mother was good friends with artists and hired Manuel Rodríguez Lozano to teach Lilia art. She attended Escuela Nacional de Pintura and studied with Agustín Lazo, Carlos Orozco Romero, and Antonio M. Ruíz.
